i remember her saying, babies should have something especially made for them, thus the handmade gifts. i could imagine how much love was put into cutting and sewing each single one of those squares and triangles. how well thought of are the colors, stitches, the pattern.
more than that, i could feel the love sent our way, overflowing to our kids, despite the distance.
may they grow up knowing how much they are loved, by a lot, even strangers --- turned family.
